The water fitness of SOGESE offers various sports activities able to satisfy the needs of all its customers.
To participate in the lessons it is necessary to reserve your place by calling the reference pool.

HYDROBIKE

Hydrobike is an effective sporting activity that combines the benefits of traditional pedaling with those of working in the water. In fact, the training takes place on a special aquabike that stimulates peripheral circulation and produces a lymphatic drainage effect on the lower limbs. All this to the rhythm of music, to make each lesson unique and fun!

In addition, with a frequency of 2 – 3 sessions per week, excellent benefits can be obtained for the cardiovascular system.

Prolonged work on the abdominal muscles is necessary to maintain a correct posture on the tool and gives tone to the abdomen. Training also brings benefits to the upper limbs: pedaling is in fact accompanied by arm movements inspired by swimming.

For this activity it is necessary to have your feet protected (rock shoes or thick socks)

TREADMILL IN THE WATER

Running and walking have very few contraindications. What can harm us, however, is the weight of our body which at every step exerts strong stresses on the joints of the lower limbs and on the spine. Thanks to this training in water it is in fact possible to reduce the influence of weight. In addition, it helps improve body and muscle perception and increases lymphatic drainage. In short, a real cure-all!

For this activity it is NOT necessary to have yout feet protected.

HYDROMIX

HYDROMIX Hydromix is ​​a cardio fitness * activity carried out in water. It is designed to alternate different jobs: from hydrobike to water aerobics. Variations in rhythm and intensity are in fact ideal for an effective slimming and lymphatic drainage action.

CIRCUIT

The circuit is a real gym in the water! Bike, treadmill, step and many other tools are in fact used for brilliant work and complete water training.

To use the bike it is necessary to have your feet protected (rock shoes or thick socks)

Fitness in palestra

In all the SOGESE swimming pools equipped with an indoor gym, out-of-water fitness classes are organized. Taking part is simple: just book the single lesson!

The payment of the lesson is done directly at the reception with a single ticket or with SOGESE CARD.

PILATES

It is much more than an exercise program – it is a body training discipline. Strengthens the abdominals, gives full body control, great flexibility, coordination of the spine and limbs. In addition, it gives the combined power between body and mind. By performing many different exercises, the muscles are strengthened, stretched and toned. All this does not lead, however, to a disproportionate increase in muscle mass.

The total concentration on the body during each exercise emphasizes the quality of movement, coordination and breathing.  It is a real science called Contrology, or conscious control of all muscle movements. It develops the body evenly, corrects posture, develops physical vitality, invigorates the mind and elevates the spirit. The method makes use of over five hundred exercises performed partly free-body and partly with the aid of tools.

BODY MIND

The body mind is body perception, conscious movement, stabilization and proprioception. The matrix of everything is yoga, a practice that in itself contains several methodologies: Ashtanga (which has connotations closer to fitness), Hata, Iyengar, Vinyasa and also stretching, an activity that dates back to the seventies. and who gave a Western version to Hata Yoga.

The purpose of this discipline is therefore related to flexibility and balance. It uses holistic methodologies such as Hatha Yoga, postural gymnastics, gentle gymnastics, global active stretching, massage, self-massage, relaxation techniques and respiratory education.

YOGA

Yoga is a millenary discipline that has as its goal the general improvement of one’s conditions. The exercises and the complete and balanced practice involve the body, posture and breathing. Yoga inserted in SOGESE fitness mainly aims at the physical well-being of the person and at relieving stress.

FUNCTIONAL TRAINING

Functional training or functional training is the most effective way to strengthen the “core zone” (abdominal / lumbar band and buttocks). Free body exercises or exercises with tools are global and the goal is to improve strength, endurance, speed and joint flexibility. In addition, the exercises, often in circuits, always stimulate static or dynamic balance.
